Music has always played a major part in the life of Johanna Sillanpaa as she carries with her a strong and sultry voice, and continues to make her mark on the international music scene. Johanna is one of those rare gifted singer/songwriters whose voice and stage presence commands your attention. She has been described as “a bluesy Erykah Badu with a marvelous voice that begins in the smoky lows of Norah Jones and effortlessly climbs into the powerful, confident ranges of Lisa Stansfield.”

Originally from Boras, Sweden, Johanna is an alumnus of both the Grant MacEwan music program in Edmonton, Alberta, as well as the vocal workshop at the Banff School of Fine Arts, in Banff, Alberta. Johanna’s critically acclaimed solo album “Good Life” has been receiving rave reviews from around the globe since its release in mid-2006. It has been featured on European pop stations and local California 103.1 FM Radio.
